Dragonsteel Nexus 2026 Panelist Application

Interested in being a panelist at Dragonsteel Nexus 2026?

DSNX26 is taking place December 3–5, 2026 and we are looking for charismatic people to be part of our programming! Dragonsteel is committed to inspiring the values of community, compassion, and creativity. As such, panelists are expected to:

  • Be comfortable in front of a crowd,
  • Be knowledgeable and able to speak confidently on a topic or other area of interest,
  • Be able to share discussion time equally with other panelists and stick to the programming schedule,
  • Be respectful to all types of people,
  • Avoid offensive language and divisive political topics,
  • Be able to promote the inclusive community values of our convention,
  • Be willing to commit time to prepare in advance with fellow panelists,
  • Be available to participate on one or more panels during the event dates,
  • Commit to frequent communication and collaboration with the Dragonsteel Events Team.
Panels are generally 60–90 minutes long and discuss a variety of topics, including the works of Brandon Sanderson, writing, art, gaming, cosplay, crafting, and more.

Dragonsteel will match panelists with various panel subjects and suggestions that align with their background, expertise, interests, etc. Potential panelists will be contacted this summer/early fall. We may choose to hold phone or virtual interviews before panelists are selected. Due the complexities of all topics, schedules, and people involved, the events team will not be able to contact every person that fills out this form. All applications will be investigated internally and considered.

We look forward to reviewing your applications.
