This panel is educational and shows how politics have influenced comic books since Superman leaped tall buildings. For example, Superman and Batman were born out of the Great Depression, Captain America and Wonder Woman were created during the height of World War II (even if America hadn't entered yet), and so on and so on. Too many times we hear "politics doesn't belong in comic books". Yet politics has guided the way for comic books, and without politics we wouldn't have the comic books we know and love!
