From my experience, Zoids seems to be criminally underrated. It seems to be outshined in popularity by Gundam and other giant robot anime. But I feel that Zoids has a charm to it that should make it more popular. It has many good designs, and so much diversity in the designs. From the well known Ligers such as Blade Liger and Liger Zero, to the relatively under utilized Zoids such as Zeek Dober (Doberman) and Gil Vader (Wyvern). Many people in the United States got into Zoids through the anime. Zoids New Century was the first to be aired yet it was the second series. Zoids Chaotic Century was the second series but it was the second to air in the US. Join me as I showcase media from the anime, models. and action figures.
