Role Playing Game (RPG) ::
Rated PG :: Microscope, a game by Ben Robbins, is a collaborative, no-prep, gamemaster-free role-playing experience where players build a fictional timeline and roleplay scenes within it. Players start by establishing the timeline's beginning and end, then take turns adding details to specific points, like events and characters. They can't contradict each other or collude. Once details are set, players can zoom in on a specific event and roleplay it. Humanity spreads to the stars and forges a galactic civilization… Fledgling nations arise from the ruins of the empire… An ancient line of dragon-kings dies out as magic fades from the realm… These are examples of Microscope games. Explore an epic history of your own creation.
