Rated G :: Monsters hide in the shadows and the gods walk our streets... EFFIGY: A Mythic Reality- is a dark urban role-playing game driven by the myths of our past. It is inspired by folklore and myths from all over the world; and uses them to weave new stories of all kinds. EFFIGY: AMR is set in a contemporary version of the World we know, using familiar locations as the backdrop for creating new Myths. Players can explore a version of their own hometown and discover a Mythic World of hidden monsters and secret societies. In this World, players are part of a very small percentage of people who in simplest terms are 'Awakened' to their true nature and its connection to the World they live in. Players can create any kind of character with help from their Mythmaker (Referee). Written and designed for playing in Houston or wherever you live.
