This form is for NEW APPLICANTS who wish to be considered as Enforcers for PAX East 2025, taking place May 8-11, 2025 in Boston, MA. If you have Enforced at a previous PAX and wish to Enforce again, you do not need to complete this form! Please email us at [email protected].

Before you apply you should note: Enforcers must have frequent internet access and commit to following and regularly checking our private forums and private Discord server, as these are our primary methods of communication with the Enforcer community.

Enforcers must commit to working 1 shift (5-6 hours) each day over the 4 days of the entire show (approx. 20-24 hours total). The shifts will be scheduled in advance, and each shift will be working within the same department, at the same approximate time each day. Enforcers are paid $15.00/hour for every hour they work at the show, receive a free pass to PAX East 2025, and are not required to have purchased a PAX badge.

If you are selected as an Enforcer, what would you like your handle to be? Required

Applicants must be 18 by their first day of work to join our staff.

Are you eligible to work for any employer in the United States AND collect a W-2 from PAX? Required
Enforcers are paid staff members. W-2s are the Wage and Tax Statement forms for reporting income to the IRS.

What prior convention experience have you had, if any? Required
We'd love to know if you've worked at any conventions as a volunteer, staff, or exhibitor, or if you've attended any conventions before!

Do you have any references from Penny Arcade, Inc., PAX, or Reed Exhibitions?
This includes references from current Enforcers. References may be required for some positions.

Being an Enforcer means having to follow all the rules of PAX while assisting others, in what can be a loud, busy environment. Are you comfortable working as part of a team, following guidance, and receiving feedback in those kinds of conditions? Required

This could include customer service experience, first responder training, HR experience, security training, experience teaching, being a parent, stage/theater tech experience, experience running large tabletop events or game tournaments, etc.

What is your t-shirt size? Required
Enforcer shirts are long sleeved and come in 2 styles. The femme/fitted style tends to be a much closer fit (1-2 sizes smaller) and slightly shorter than the unisex style.
