Tampa Bay Comic Convention Press registration is open to journalists who regularly make editorial contributions. Editorial press includes writers, reporters, producers, photographers, videographers, etc., who are attending specifically on assignment to write about the convention and/or cover the event for newspapers, magazines, TV, and radio.
Non-editorial staff, including graphic designers, marketing, public relations, and sales staff, do not qualify for a press ticket. Influencers and content creators do not qualify for press tickets and should instead apply for a content creator credential.
Carefully review our requirements and complete your online Press Pass request. Incomplete applications will be denied, and that decision will be final. BE SURE TO INCLUDE PAST COVERAGE, as it will significantly increase your chances of a quick approval.
When applying for a press pass, you must fall into one of the following categories:
Broadcast (TV or Radio)
Print (Newspaper, daily, weekly, or monthly, Magazine, monthly, weekly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual)
Online/Digital (Newspapers/Magazines/Channels/Internet News & Coverage Sites)
Influencers, Content Creators, and non-working photographers covering the event for an accredited media group do not qualify for press tickets and should instead register for a content creator credential.
Tampa Bay Comic Convention Press tickets provide complimentary access for all three days of the event. Press tickets are extended as a courtesy. As with all FanX events, we are focused on the attendees first, which means your press ticket grants access to panels when space is available. Press tickets do not include entry to pre-show reservations for panels, exhibitor exclusives, or private autographing. Reminder: entry does not guarantee seating or special access.
Your press ticket DOES NOT allow:
Early or special access to the convention
Guaranteed seating at panels and events
The ability to cut lines
Free access to any events requiring an additional ticket
Access to Celebrities
Press registration closed on Friday, July 17, at 5:00 PM EST. After the application deadline, no further applications will be accepted. All emails with credential pick-up information will be sent on or before Friday, July 24, 2026. There will be no on-site press approvals.
Please read our press and media attendance [terms and conditions]. By applying for and being approved for a Dan Farr Productions Press badge, you agree to these terms.
Applying does not guarantee approval. You'll be notified of your approval or denial by the date listed on the application. An email will be sent later with information on where to pick up your badge and wristband, along with available hours. Each individual may apply for a press ticket only once.
Press tickets are non-transferable. Any individuals caught selling their press ticket will be disqualified from attending future events. This is non-negotiable.
Tickets are limited and should not be issued to children, family members, or friends. You must be 18 or older to qualify for a Press badge. Wristbands must also be worn with your badge all three days of the event.
