Reading is awesome, and C2E2 wants to empower students in the Chicago area to read! As a way to incentivize students to crack open a comic book or graphic novel and get reading, several local schools will be joining forces with us in a new program called Power Up To Read, which will give students the chance to read and earn free badge to C2E2. Excelsior!
C2E2 has provided Power Up To Read worksheets to several participating schools, for their students. The rules are simple – students must read 8 books, comic books, or graphic novels from now until March 28, 2025 and complete the provided worksheet. Once the student completes their worksheet, they can turn in the completed sheet to their designated Power Up To Read Representative (a librarian or teacher from their school) and a promo code will be sent to their parent/guardian’s email. Then this code can be redeemed online by a parent or guardian for a free 3-day badge!
